Flower power for first Kenzo Parfums x Jardin des Tuileries collaboration

Kenzo Parfums, a patron of the Musée du Louvre, will bring the Jardin des Tuileries alive with flowers in spring and summer through 2023. Perfumers, gardeners and artists are all working together in the name of beauty and biodiversity. Photos from the first collaboration and its invitation to poetic escape have been posted on the Kenzo Parfums Instagram account.

Last summer, flower arrangements from Kenzo Parfums covered nearly 2,600 square meters in Paris’ famous Tuileries Garden, a memorable example of the excellence synonymous with French-style gardens. The parterre designed by landscape gardeners from the Domaine National du Louvre and Tuileries offered a poetic echo to the exhibition “Body and Soul, From Donatello to Michelangelo. Italian Renaissance Sculptures”.

Sculptures, bas-reliefs and friezes all inspired the colorful flowerbeds. Shades of red were dominant with dahlias, begonias and perennial alstroemerias. Plus of course Kenzo Parfums’ emblematic poppies.

In a meticulously orchestrated colorway, the pink of penstemons, petunias and lythrums was softened by lighter hues of spider flowers and beeblossoms. The horticultural palette was enriched with different varieties of sage, phormium and purple and green coleus.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting March to discover the next collaboration between Kenzo Parfums and the Jardin des Tuileries around a shared passion for flowers.
